Everyone knows that Death Valley is the hottest and lowest point in the United States. What you don't know is that there's lots of life in Death Valley -- and even water! Kangaroo rats, pupfish, mountain goats, dragon flies, lizards, and many birds call Death Valley home...to name a few. We loved camping in Death Valley -- it's incredibly quiet and peaceful at night -- and that's when the cute kangaroo rats come out for a visit!
